About US
Rick Rokosz
Originally from Chicago IL, I was a long-time resident of Denver, now residing in Cottonwood, Arizona.
- My education includes a B.S. in Business Administration from Regis College and a M.S. in Organizational Leadership from Regis University.

- Retired executive from the Lockheed Martin Corporation
- Last position was as the Senior Manager in IT for the Strategy, Technology and Governance (STG) dept. of the Space Systems business unit.
- Held managerial positions in support of engineering, information systems, human resources, administrative and field site operations
- Lead departments with over two hundred employees with an annual budget of $50 million dollars. Formed and facilitated high performance work teams.
- Lead a 100-team continuous improvement program
- Responsible for developing an innovative approach to visualizing IT strategic plans.
- Earned recognition from the business unit and was promoted corporate wide by the Space Systems VP of IT.
- Recipient of numerous company awards for technical achievement, operational performance, and team leadership.
Military Experience
- Decorated Viet Nam Veteran.
- served in the U.S. Army as a non-commissioned officer in charge of field artillery operations in Chu Lai and Da Nang, South Viet Nam.
- I hold among other medals, a Bronze Star, the Army Commendation Medal, Meritorious, National and Viet Nam Service Awards, and the Viet Nam Presidential Unit Citation.

Darlene Rokosz
Darlene was born and raised in Los alamos NM. She holds a degree in biology from Loretto Heights College in Denver CO. Career wise, Darlene worked in the veterinary field, retail sales, and in art and crafts arena.
Project K.I.A.N.
Additional Information
Each child admitted to the Northern Arizona Healthcare (NAH) hospital in Flagstaff, AZ. is given a new stuffed animal to comfort them during their stay and to help take their minds off the often-painful medical procedures they must endure.
The supply of stuffed animals is always in need of replenishment, so, Darlene and I created “Project K.I.A.N.” (K.I.A.N. stands for Kids in Affection Need). It also happens to be the name of one of our grandsons who has seen more than his fair share of hospitals at a very young age. He has a favorite stuffed animal, a hippo named “hippoleo”. Hippoleo was always a great comfort to him on his many hospital stays.
We conduct a year-round drive to replace the hospital’s supply of stuffed animals. If you’d like to contribute you can:
